    Casa Yaxché Update

    Construction of the main residence is underway, with the foundation and steel frame now taking shape. Scheduled for completion in October or November, the home will feature a spectacular outdoor living space and expansive balcony nestled among the surrounding trees. This video captures the beginning of our forever home.

    Casita Nearing Completion

    Casita Yaxché is approaching completion, marking a significant milestone in the construction of the property. Elevated among the trees, the design features two private balconies—one extending from the kitchen and dining area and another from the bedroom—as well as an open-air outdoor shower that embraces the surrounding tropical landscape.

    Perched on one of the highest ridgelines along the western side of the community, the Bambu Common Area benefits from steady breezes. Nestled below the gathering spaces, the pool is tucked into the forest edge, creating a quiet retreat offering a sense of seclusion.

    A Moment of Gratitude

    Standing above the future site of our home, it is difficult to put the feeling into words. Surrounded by green hills, fresh air, and the beauty of the landscape, we find ourselves pausing often to take it all in. The progress below represents more than a construction project—it is the realization of a dream years in the making. We feel incredibly fortunate to be here, and there are still moments when we look around and wonder if it is all real.
